Art Basel Programme 2026
History of Art Basel
Launched in 2022 at the Grand Palais, celebrating Modern and contemporary art in the French capital. Now hosted in its restored, permanent home at the historic Grand Palais, the show seamlessly connects France’s deep cultural heritage with the global art market, drawing on Paris’s unique synergy across art, fashion, design, and culture.
Each edition presents top-tier galleries, curated historical works, and solo projects by emerging voices, while actively engaging the city through a public program of monumental installations at iconic sites like the Place Vendôme and Petit Palais. Produced in partnership with leading French institutions and global sponsors, Art Basel Paris anchors the city as a dynamic centerpiece of the international art calendar.
