Overview

From July 7 to 12, 2025, the Principality of Monaco became an international meeting point for the art world, hosting two parallel yet distinct events: the 7th edition of Monaco Art Week and the 9th edition of Art Monte-Carlo fair.
Taking place across the city’s cultural and commercial districts, Monaco Art Week unfolded as a curated parcours of gallery exhibitions, institutional shows, and auction house presentations — offering a dynamic and decentralized experience of contemporary and historical art. Simultaneously, Art Monte-Carlo art fair brought together a refined selection of international modern and contemporary galleries within the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco’s premier congress and exhibition centre, located on the seafront in the Larvotto district.
We help to gain access to remarkable events at the Monaco Art Week & Artmonte-carlo fair and provide all necessary support for our clients. We offer a special fair program for our VIP clients.

About Art Monte-Carlo 2026

Set against the polished backdrop of the Riviera, Art Monte-Carlo returns for its tenth edition with a quietly confident recalibration of both timing and ambition. The fair will take place from 29 April to 1 May 2026, with a VIP preview on 28 April, at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.

  • Notably, this anniversary edition confirms a strategic shift in the calendar: the fair, long associated with early July, now firmly occupies a spring slot, aligning itself more closely with the European art schedule and Monaco Art Week.

A Tightly Curated Fair

Art Monte-Carlo remains deliberately human in scale, hosting approximately 30 international galleries, each selected for their standing in modern and contemporary art. Rather than expanding indiscriminately, the fair continues to cultivate an atmosphere of discretion and comfort.
Participating galleries traditionally include leading European and international names such as Almine Rech and Moretti Fine Art, reflecting a programme that balances blue-chip modernism with contemporary practices.

Cultural Partnerships

The fair has ongoing collaborations with Monaco’s key cultural bodies, including the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco (NMNM) and the Pavillon Bosio.

New Ownership

A significant development underpinning recent editions is the fair’s integration into the portfolio of Informa, showing a closer alignment with the global luxury events sector. While the fair retains its partnership with Palexpo, this transition suggests a future in which art, lifestyle, and high-net-worth audiences are increasingly intertwined.

The Curator’s Role

In addition to the gallery and fair programmes, visitors to Monaco during the art week will have the opportunity to explore three major institutional exhibitions at the Grimaldi Forum and Villa Paloma (NMNM) during the Art Monte-Carlo.
A new curatorial section brings together contemporary art galleries, design studios and interior architecture workshops in a fresh take on the fair format. Salon Monte-Carlo creates an immersive experience where visual creations, objects and fittings interact in a coherent aesthetic.

Earthly Delights

The curated exhibition Earthly Delights takes its title from Luis Buñuel's reflections on the bar as a space of imagination, ritual and introspection, exploring pleasure as a creative condition. The exhibition explores the idea of pleasure as a generative force in artistic creation. It frames it as something far more complex – intertwined with memory and imagination.

The 2026 edition of the fair, with its anniversary status, revised calendar, and expanded curatorial ambition, appears a careful refinement – one that continues to position the fair as an intimate yet strategic meeting point within the European art market.
