Abu Dhabi Art 2023
22 - 26 November 2023

The annual art fair each November is the culmination of the year-round visual arts programme. Now in its 15th year, Abu Dhabi Art 2023 will run at Manarat Al Saadiyat from today, Wednesday, November 22, to Sunday, November 26. The fair brings together a number of local and international galleries offering artworks for sale which are shown alongside exhibitions, artist commissions and installations both at the fair and across the emirate.

This year’s fair is set to be the biggest yet with 92 galleries from more than 31 countries participating, including 37 brand new and 55 returning galleries. Moreover, visitors can expect a multitude of visual works in the Modern & Contemporary category with 41 participating galleries including Rossi & Rossi (Hong Kong), Selma Feriani Gallery (Tunisia), and Bernier/Eliades (Greece).

ST-ART Strasbourg
24 - 26 November 2023

For 26 years, ST-ART Strasbourg has remained one of the very first contemporary art and design fairs in the region. The event has established itself over time as a highlight of the art market through the quality of the works presented as well as the diversity of collectors who flock there. This event in the heart of Europe will showcase the vitality and creativity of young talent from Alsace and beyond. The 27th edition of the fair now takes place within the new Parc des Expositions in Strasbourg, a magnificent setting designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, winner of the prestigious Global Award for Sustainable Architecture, which was inaugurated a year ago.

This eco-responsible venue will host around 60 galleries from 8 countries over an area of 10,000 m2. Located a few steps from the headquarters of the European Parliament, the contemporary art fair is positioned in a rich cultural territory made up of the HEAR (Haute École des Arts du Rhin), the FRAC (located in Sélestat) and the European art center Apollonia which radiate in the heart of Europe.

Art Basel Miami Beach
08-10 December 2023

To close out each year, the art world descends on Miami Beach in early December for a bevy of art fairs, with the most important of these traditionally being Art Basel Miami Beach. Being held typically the week following the US Thanksgiving holiday, this year Art Basel makes it fall a week later than usual. This iteration will be the first since Noah Horowitz’s return to Art Basel as company CEO.

Horowitz headed up the Art Basel Miami Beach fair beginning in 2015; and previously he used to serve as the executive director of the Armory Show in New York for four years. He returns to Art Basel after having left a year ago to join Sotheby’s as the auction house’s worldwide head of gallery and private dealer services. At Art Basel Miami this year the leading galleries from five continents will show significant works by masters of Modern and contemporary art, as well as the new generation of emerging stars.

Art Antwerp
14-17 December 2023

After being forced to postpone the planned launch in 2020, the Art Antwerp fair started in 2021, and this year the fair is returning for its 3rd edition from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 December 2023 at Antwerp Expo. Created by the same team as the successful Art Brussels, headed by Anne Vierstraete and Nele Verhaeren, the fair brings together more than 50 European galleries, with most of them – Belgian. Internationally renowned exhibitors, such as kamel mennour, Nathalie Obadia or Templon, rub shoulders with local or younger galleries to offer collectors and visitors a wide range of styles and prices.

All of them have been invited by a Hosting Committee, composed of Belgian members of the Art Brussels international committee. This year, Art Antwerp’s Invitation Committee invited more than 70 participating galleries from 12 different countries, representing a mix of mid-career and emerging artists. The fair is held at Antwerp Expo, a venue with huge volumes, perfectly suited to this type of event. This year, Art Antwerp has teamed up with the best institutions in Antwerp to offer an OFF Programme that extends throughout the city.
