Kiaf SEOUL
4 – 8 September 2024
First launched in 2002, KIAF – Korea International Art Fair – today it undoubtedly has an international influence. Taking place over 4 days in fall period annually, KIAF ART SEOUL quickly adapted to the constantly transforming trends of the current era with a focus on its online platform.
This year 36 galleries from such cities as Bangkok, Beijing, London, Madrid, New York, Rome, Seoul, Sydney, Tehran, Tokyo will participate in the fair for the first time. Moreover, the fair will expand to The Platz area this year, hosting a special exhibition and selected galleries in Kiaf PLUS, the sector dedicated to emerging artists and new media. Since 2022, Frieze Seoul takes place at Halls C and D of COEX, in partnership with the Galleries Association of Korea and concurrent to Kiaf.
The Armory Show (New York)
8 – 10 September 2024
The Armory Show announced the details of its 30th edition, which returns to Javits Center from 6 to 8 September, in its second year since its acquisition by Frieze in July 2023. Divided into sections, the show consists of areas curated by art professionals, areas exhibiting solo artists, thematic curations and a discovery section where galleries less than 10 years old can exhibit.
Of this year's 235 exhibitors – a slight increase from last year's 225 – more than half are returning galleries. Despite the absence of the usual blue-chip names frequenting Frieze, a respectable selection of exhibitors remain committed to the fair, including Almine Rech, Jessica Silverman, Kasmin, Sean Kelly, Victoria Miro, and Vielmetter Los Angeles.
Viennacontemporary12 – 15 September 2024
Autumn in Vienna rhymes since 2015 with galleries and contemporary art. The fair highlights art from Central and Eastern Europe and showcases more than 90 galleries this year. The 2024 iteration will take place in a new venue and bring together more gallery participants than ever before.
Introducing a diverse public programme and collateral events throughout the city and with more than 90 established galleries participating – including exciting newcomers from Central and Eastern Europe, and further afield – the fair promises to be a highlight in the art calendar. Three initiatives were announced for 2024 programme: VCT STATEMENT: ENERGY, a new section titled CONTEXT, and the return of ZONE1, the fair’s section focusing on emerging talents.
Frieze London + Masters
9 – 13 October 2024
Frieze Masters was founded in 2012, offers a unique contemporary perspective on thousands of years of art history, from collectible objects to significant masterpieces from the ancient era and Old Masters to the late 20th century. The 2024 edition of the fair will showcase over 130 of the significant galleries from around the world. Frieze Masters coincides with and is within walking distance of its sister fair, Frieze London, which focuses on contemporary art and living artists, showing work created mainly post-2000 whereas Frieze Masters presents work made before the year 2000.
Connecting Frieze Masters and Frieze London, Frieze Sculpture is a free display of major outdoor works located in The Regent’s Park’s English Gardens at the south end of The Broadwalk. Annually, over 60,000 visitors attend Frieze Masters and Frieze London combined.
Paris+ par Art Basel18 – 20 October 2024
Launched in October 2022, Paris+ par Art Basel has been taking place at the Grand Palais's temporary venue, the Grand Palais Ephemere, located on the Champ-de-Mars, until the sheduled restoration of the iconic Grand Palais was completed in 2024. This year is the year, when Paris+ par Art Basel is coming to Grand Palais. 194 galleries from 42 countries, including 51 first-time participants and 64 galleries operating spaces in France, will present their programmes at Art Basel’s inaugural edition at the newly renovated venue.
The art fair will be structured across three exhibition sectors: Galeries, the main exhibition sector, in which exhibitors present the full breadth of their program; Emergence, formerly known as Galeries Émergentes, dedicated to emerging galleries and artists, that will gather exhibitors presenting young and emerging artists through solo presentations; and the newly introduced Premise sector that will feature nine galleries presenting singular curatorial proposals that may include work made before 1900.
Contemporary Istanbul

Contemporary Istanbul is an established art fair with 17 previous editions under its belt. It has quickly become a very popular event. Indeed, around 75,000 visitors are reported annually to walk through the doors during the 4 days of general admission. It attracts approximately 85 galleries and 650 artists from Turkey and the rest of the world. Launched in 2006, it is committed to showcasing exceptional contemporary art and advancing new ideas.
Strongly rooted in the rich local context, the fair actively contributes to the dynamic culture of Istanbul and supports its creative industries. Through new initiatives and multiple collaborations with Turkish and international partners, CI is aiming to shape the future of art in the region in the cosmopolitan city of Istanbul – the meeting point of Europe and Asia.
