“The Sleep of Reason” Exhibition

The 2024-2025 rehang of the Craig Robins Collection is titled “The Sleep of Reason” based on Francisco de Goya’s “El sueño de la razón produce monstruos”, part of his major print series, Caprichos. This fundamental work anchors a double presentation of works by Kai Althoff and Jana Euler, two artists whose drawings, paintings and sculptures engage with abject imagery, often presenting delirious or complex emotional landscapes in their figuration.

The Craig Robins Collection is a cornerstone of Miami’s contemporary art scene, featuring over 1,300 works that highlight the intersection of art and design. Known for its innovative exhibitions, the collection regularly integrates historic and contemporary works, fostering dialogue across eras and styles. This ongoing exhibition series underscores Miami's reputation as a global art hub during Art Basel and beyond.
