Zero 10

Zero 10, Art Basel's dedicated digital art initiative, making its Asia debut following its launch at Art Basel Miami Beach in December 2025. The name references Malevich's landmark 1915 exhibition in Petrograd, signalling the fair's conviction that digital creativity belongs within — not adjacent to — the contemporary art economy. Zero 10 is curated by Eli Scheinman and features 14 exhibitors working across digital art, blockchain-based platforms, and new media.

Encounters

Encounters, the sector dedicated to large-scale installations, sculptures, and performances, has been curated for the first time by a collective of four Asia-based curators — Mami Kataoka, Isabella Tam, Alia Swastika, and Hirokazu Tokuyama. Twelve artworks will be presented, organised around the five elements as understood in Asian cosmological traditions: water, fire, wind, earth, and space/ether. The sector extends beyond the convention centre walls.

Defined by its host city and region, each show is unique, which is reflected in its participating galleries, artworks presented, and the content of parallel programming produced in collaboration with local institutions for each edition.
Art Basel’s engagement has expanded beyond art fairs through new digital platforms and a number of new initiatives such as the Art Basel and UBS Global Art Market Report, Intersections: The Art Basel Podcast and the BMW Art Journey. Art Basel's Global Media Partner is The Financial Times.
