Overview

Contemporary Istanbul marks its 20th anniversary in 2025, returning to the historic Tersane Istanbul — a space where the city’s layered past meets its dynamic present. Over two decades, the fair has become the leading platform for contemporary art in the region, hosting world-class galleries, institutions, and collectors while strengthening Istanbul’s role as a global cultural hub.
The 2025 edition features an expanded international program, including institutional collaborations with Palais de Tokyo, Asia Society, Mori Art Museum, and Barjeel Art Foundation, as well as a landmark dual presentation of the BMW Art Cars. This year’s Focus America highlights USA and its shifting cultural narratives, with leading museum directors and curators contributing to the dialogue. Parallel to the fair, Istanbul will host major cultural events: the 18th Istanbul Biennial, the debut of the Golden Horn Light Festival, and the return of the Contemporary Istanbul Foundation Dialogues under the theme “Dispersing Coordinates.”
We help our clients gain privileged access to these remarkable events and offer a dedicated VIP program from September 23–25, 2025, including private collection visits, curated tours, and exclusive receptions.
