Opening Reception of the Margulies Collection at the Warehouse

The reception will open the exhibitions "Pop Art: Johns, Lichtenstein, Warhol, Wesselmann, Rosenquist, Chamberlain, Segal", "Records of the Past: Lewis Hine Child Labor Photographs", and "Italian Art 1970–2024".

  • The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse is a nonprofit contemporary art space founded by collector Martin Z. Margulies and opened to the public in 1999 in Miami’s Wynwood district.
    Located in a 50,000-square-foot refurbished warehouse, it presents rotating installations of international contemporary art, photography, video, and large-scale sculpture curated with longtime curator Katherine Hinds. Known for its museum-level programming, the institution is dedicated to education and broad public access to art.

Design Miami showcases collectible 20th- and 21st-century design alongside curated collaborations and special anniversary programming.

  • Design Miami 2025 is the 21st edition of the global fair for collectible design, showcasing mid-century to contemporary work from leading galleries, studios, and designers. The fair also features curated special projects and its annual thematic program “Make. Believe.” It takes place at Convention Center Drive & 19th Street in Miami Beach.

Opening Night at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami

Opening night of the ICA Miami’s winter exhibition program.

  • The Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami is a nonprofit museum dedicated to promoting continuous experimentation in contemporary art. Founded in 2014 by philanthropists Norman and Irma Braman, the museum presents year-round exhibitions featuring emerging and established artists, along with commissions and site-specific installations. Located in the Miami Design District, it provides free public access to contemporary art and education programs.

VIP Opening Reception at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), North Miami

  • The Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami is a nonprofit contemporary art museum originally founded in 1981 as the Center for Contemporary Art and reestablished under its current name in 1996. Housed in a 23,000-square-foot building designed by architect Charles Gwathmey, the museum is known for exhibitions that spotlight under-recognized and experimental artists. MOCA places a strong emphasis on community engagement and public accessibility.

  • Gagosian Gallery is a global network of modern and contemporary art galleries founded by Larry Gagosian in Los Angeles in 1980. It now operates more than eighteen exhibition spaces worldwide and is known for museum-quality shows and representation of major 20th- and 21st-century artists.

  • Art Basel Miami Beach is an annual art fair launched in 2002 as the American edition of the Swiss fair Art Basel, which was founded in 1970 by Swiss gallerists Ernst Beyeler, Trudl Bruckner and Balz Hilt.

This private visit offers an exclusive look into the Debra & Dennis Scholl Collection, curated this year by artist Rafael Domenech.

  • Debra and Dennis Scholl began building their collection in 1978, developing one of Miami’s most respected private holdings of contemporary art. The Scholls are known for their focus on contemporary practices, including a major concentration of Australian Aboriginal painting, and for regularly lending works to museums and organizing curated presentations of their collection.

The Announcement of the Art Basel Awards 2025 Gold Medalists

The Medalists of the Art Basel Awards vote to select up to 12 “Gold Medalists,” which will be announced during Art Basel in Miami in December 2025. The awards span categories including Artists (Icon, Established, Emerging), Cross-Disciplinary Creators, Patrons, Institutions, Curators, Allies and Media. Artist-category recipients receive nearly $300,000 in honorariums, philanthropic contributions, commissions and global partnership opportunities.

  • The Craig Robins Collection was amassed over forty years by entrepreneur and real-estate developer Craig Robins and is housed at the headquarters of his firm Dacra in Miami’s Design District.
    The collection comprises more than 1,700 works of modern and contemporary art and design, and is exhibited via rotating exhibitions at his Miami Design District space. It underscores Robins’s commitment to cultural investment in the city through public display and integration of architecture, design and art.

The reception celebrates Miami Art Week with the video installation "Marco Brambilla: After Utopia", which imagines a virtual expo of iconic structures from world’s fairs across time and continents.

  • Founded by Mitchell “Micky” Wolfson Jr., the museum’s current status as part of Florida International University dates to the 1990s; it focuses on art and design from 1885 to 1945 and serves as museum, library and research centre.

  • The NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale is a nonprofit art museum founded in 1958 (originally as the Fort Lauderdale Art Center) and became part of Nova Southeastern University in 2008. Its 83,000-square-foot modernist building (opened in 1986) hosts international exhibitions, a major Latin American art collection, and educational programs.

Bubbles & Brunch at the Lowe Art Museum

Location: Lowe Art Museum, 1301 Stanford Drive, Miami

The program features the Haas Brothers and their exhibition "The Immaterial in Material", followed by a lecture with Nikolai and Simon Haas discussing their exhibition "The Haas Brothers S. Car, Go!", which will be on view during the fair. Guests are also invited to see the additional exhibitions "Petah Coyne: How Much A Heart Can Hold", "Myrna and Sheldon Palley Pavilion for Contemporary Glass and Studio Arts", and the museum’s "Permanent Collection"spanning 5,000 years of global art.

  • The Lowe Art Museum was founded in 1950 at the University of Miami, making it South Florida’s first art museum. It holds a comprehensive collection spanning over 5,000 years, including ancient, modern, and contemporary art, and integrates exhibitions with teaching and research.

The 21st annual Breakfast in the Park includes a lecture at FIU’s Student Academic and Success Center, followed by breakfast and programming at the Frost Art Museum with access to exhibitions including "Eduardo Navarro: Cloud Museum" and "Agustín Fernández: The Alluring Power of Ambiguity", among others.

  • The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU is an academic art museum part of Florida International University that opened in 1977 (originally as The Art Museum at FIU) and was renamed after Patricia & Phillip Frost in 2003.
    It houses a permanent collection of over 6,000 works spanning pre-Columbian, 20th- and 21st-century American, Caribbean and Latin American art and offers free admission and extensive educational programming.
