About the Exhibition
On 11 May, the Modern Art Research Institute, Kyiv, welcomed guests for the opening of the “Concentration of the Will” project as part of the 15th platform of cultural initiatives "New Aspirations". The exhibition space of the Modern Art Research Institute became the first of three exhibition spaces of a large-scale project that followed at the M17 Contemporary Art Center and the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine. Each exhibition offers the audience new artists and new artworks within the framework of the project's common concept.

The project reveals the Ukrainian vision of will through the prism of artists' works. Today, it is the will that helps the Ukrainian people to accumulate the strength for a victorious struggle, and it is precisely this idea that contemporary Ukrainian and international artists have been working on to be presented at the exhibition.
The exhibition at the Modern Art Research Institute showcases the artworks by many Ukrainian and international artists: video art, photography, an installation of military equipment fragments, objects, graphics, painting, and sculpture. The exhibition brings together artworks that highlight various aspects of the consequences of the full-scale Russian invasion and reveals the Ukrainian vision of the will.
