About the artist

Alina Pivnenko is a Ukrainian contemporary artist. Born 1989 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine. Since 2008 Alina has participated in various exhibitions, projects and festivals. Previously worked in a duet with Alexandra Chichkan in Ch & P. Now the artist works separately. Alina Pivnenko has been working in collage technique since 2008. She creates her work during 300 hours using small cuttings from approximately 30 – 150 magazines. She has participated in numerous personal and group exhibitions ( You + I, Candice Breitz, and in Pinchukartcentre). Her works are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Canada, the UnitedStates and the Netherlands.
