This is the author's first and currently only artistic reflection on the events caused by the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine.
First of all, the work is a documentation of the artist's own perception of the gloomy reality of wartime, which the author notes during 2022-2023, creating several objects from concrete in his workshop in Kyiv. A three-dimensional sculpture depicting a certain state of restlessness and a series of concrete reliefs, some of which are presented as part of the "Concentration of Will" project.
"In the middle of the storm" is an attempt to record the changing state of the current reality and a subconscious attempt to find the desired place of peace and contemplation, necessary for understanding the new reality, among anxieties and uncertainties.
Petro Gronsky's "Storm"
This is the first and currently the only author's reflection on the events caused by russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
First and foremost, the work is a documentation of the artist's own perception of the grim reality of wartime, 'documented' by the author during 2022-2023, by means of creating several objects from concrete in his studio in the city of Kyiv.
"Amidst of the Storm is an attempt to capture the changing state of the present reality and a subconscious attempt to find the desired place of calm and contemplation amongst the anxieties and uncertainties, which is necessary for comprehending the new reality."
